Project: Provided a third-party review and analysis for this national monthly magazine's special Web marketing program. Provided ideas on how to enhance usability of site, improve content distribution and approach, and enhance search engine optimization.
Health Management Technology
Project: Complete publication redesign for this national monthly trade magazine with 48,000 circulation. Extensive revision of editorial content and approach. Developed new Web site for better interactivity and usability, increased traffic, improved search engine optimization, social networking options, and enhanced advertiser opportunities. Expanded e-newsletter program from one issue monthly to six weekly newsletters. Increased marketing through partnerships with numerous trade shows and conferences. Initiated new awards program for reader involvement and advertising possibilities.
Communications News
Project: Worked with this 75,000-circulation national monthly magazine on cover-to-cover redesign and revised editorial approach. Supervised the redesign and content approach of the magazine's Web site. Initiated regular monthly e-newsletter program, with sales increasing 100% in the first year. Worked with marketing to create new sales programs.
Atlanta International Magazine
Created this monthly, glossy tabloid (10,000 circulation) to provide information of interest to Atlanta-area companies expanding into overseas markets. Started an annual trade show – InterTrade – and quarterly seminar programs. Partnered with various government and business groups to help market the magazine and its conferences.
Business Atlanta Magazine
Project: Assisted this 48,000-circulation monthly regional business magazine with a complete, front-to-back redesign. Oversaw changes in editorial, design and sales that resulted in the magazine going from last to first in its competitive analysis. Created several new awards programs for increased brand recognition and advertising sales.
American City & County
Project: Redesign of monthly, 65,000-circulation magazine. Changed editorial approach. Created awards and sales programs for improved branding and advertising sales.
Rural Georgia Magazine
Project: Complete redesign of this 250,000-circulation monthly. Designed new marketing programs for a publication struggling with advertising sales. Implemented a statewide program that resulted in a one-time circulation increase to more than 500,000 subscribers. This resulted in an increase in advertising revenue of more than 300%, as well as coverage in more than 100 newspapers in the state.
